PRESS RELEASE: bestbreaktours.com is Celebrating Frosh Week With Photo-Sharing Contest

Student Travel Company bestbreaktours.com is Inviting Students to Participate in a Photo-Sharing Contest for a Free Trip Giveaway

Burlington, ON (August 27, 2012) /via CMG Media – Student travel provider bestbreaktours.com is joining in the Frosh Week experience this September. The leisure tours company is inviting Ontario students on Frosh Week to participate in a Facebook Photo Sharing Contest which will begin Tuesday, September 4 and end on Friday, September 14.

The contest guidelines are simple: Log onto bestbreaktours.com’s official Facebook page and share a fun and creative photo of yourself which displays your school pride while on Frosh Week!

The contest winner will be determined by way of a voting method which will be comprised of the number of “Likes” for the posted photo, the number of positive “Comments” written about the photo, and finally, the number of “Shares” the photo receives among friends and followers.

“We’re really trying to encourage some fun engagement with this,” says Carm Giardina, who handles social media and promotions for the company. “Tapping into the Frosh Week spirit – which is always an exciting and energetic time for students – is what we’re aiming to accomplish with this contest.”

What the winner gets is a free trip for four to Spring Break in Panama City Beach, Florida during one of the Canadian University and College break weeks in February. As Giardina puts it: “For those who are aware of what Spring Break in Florida is like, they know that this is a contest worth trying to win.”

Students are encouraged to have fun with this contest – posting photos which show off school spirit in a positive way are going to not only be accepted, but will also receive an extra boost from the social media staff at bestbreaktours.com. Conversely, photos that are deemed offensive or negative in any way will be taken off the page.

“There’s likely to be many photos taken (and shared) during the first couple weeks of school that display the kinds of criteria we’re looking for in our contest,” continues Giardina. “We’re hoping that students in Ontario will share those photos with us and encourage their friends to help them win a free trip!”
